Testimonials

I have received some very nice and supportive testimonials and comments about my stories and the ideas behind this site.  As people discover us and tell us what they think, I will post some of those communications here and on the Testimonials/Other Comments page.

The following review of one of my stories is to show how important sharing stories of your life can be for your family.

I’m 47 years old, and I didn’t know 95% of what was written in this story about my father’s family. It’s funny, I felt like I was reading about complete strangers since these folks have no place in my ”heritage bank.” Thanks for telling the story, Dad. I’m glad to know more about your family.

“What a fantastic website!  I LOVE the “emergency twinkie” story, and ironically, I was just asking my brother if they still sell all those hostess goodies, and how sad to think that our 4 year old has not delighted in one yet!”

“After my Mom’’s brain tumor was removed at OHSU, we started this blog to facilitate communication with friends and family…my brother has now continued the blog this year.” http://alohajoyce.blogspot.com/

Your site is really interesting and I think it could catch on. People need a place to store stories and photos that can be accessed by family members and the general public. Great job. It also gave me a couple of ideas about teaching.
